Get Free Trees!

Is Your Institution New to Our Program?

Please enroll your institution by February 22nd to receive free trees for Earth Day 2026.

Please identify one individual to be the designated “Coordinator” at your Institution.
The Coordinator is responsible for promoting free tree sign-ups (through March 15th), receiving the trees (by April 20th), and distributing them to registered participants (during Earth Week, April 22-30). Once identified, the designated Coordinator should register your Institution here.

Has Your Institution Registered or Participated Before?

You do not need to re-register your Institution each year. We will be in touch with you in early January! If your Institution is already registered, but you need to update the Coordinator information, please update the Coordinator on your Coordinator Dashboard or contact us at info@neighborhoodforest.org.

Tree Species Selection Process

Neighborhood Forest aims to provide native or fruit-bearing trees in all the regions we serve. We generally provide trees on a state-by-state basis and aim to change up the species each year, so kids and communities receive a variety over time.

We will announce the species type for your region in early April.

Currently, there is not a choice in the type of tree you register for (or purchase). You can learn more about our selection process here.
